ياسمينا حيدر فنانة تشكيلية وأستاذ النحت ورئيس قسم سابق بكلية الفنون الجميلة، جامعة الاسكندريَّة. ولدت بالاسكندرية وتخرَّجت من القسم
العلمي بالكلية الإنجليزيَّة للبنات.
وحصلت على دبلوم العزف المنفرد على البيانو من المدرسة الملكيَّة الإنجليزيَّة. درست الفن التشكيلي في ألمانيا وتركيا، و تخرجت من قسم
النحت لكلية الفنون الجنيلة جامعة الاسكندرية ثم أكاديميَّة كرارا للفنون الجميلة بإيطاليا بمرتبة الشرف الأولى عن "فن النحت الصرحي ما
بين
التصميم و التأثير السياسي"؛ كما حصلت على درجة الدكتوراه في فلسفة الفنون من جامعة الاسكندرية بإنجاز أبحاث رائدة في النحت الزجاجي عام
2009.
لها العديد من المقتنيات الخاصة والعامة من أهمها عمل ميداني من نحت الزُّجاج في متحف الكيانتي المفتوح بإيطاليا عام 2008، و أول عمل
ميداني من نحت الزُّجاج في الشرق الأوسط "الإعصار" بمكتبة الإسكندرية عام 2010، وأعمال "الشرنقة" و"رياح" من الجرانيت بمتحف أسوان
المفتوح
للنحت 2016، والنصب التذكاري للقمة العربية الخماسية من الرخام الصناعي بمدينة العلمين الجديدة 2023.

Born in Alexandria, Yasmina Heidar is an artist and a Professor of Sculpture and
former Depatmt Head at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University. She completed high school at the English Girls’ College, and
earned a Classical Piano performance diploma from England’s “Royal School of Music”.
She studied visual arts in Germany, Turkey, and graduated from Sculpture department in Alexandria Faculty of Fine Arts. She then
attended the Carrara Academy of Fine Arts in Italy, graduating with First Class Honors after presenting a thesis on "Monumental
Sculpture: Between Design and Political Impact."
She earned her Ph.D. in Fine Arts with Distinction from Alexandria University in Egypt for pioneering research in glass sculpture in
2009. Her works are featured in private and public collections, including her public glass sculpture in Chianti Sculpture Park,
Italy
(2008), the first large-scale public glass sculpture in the Middle East, "Tornado," at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, granite
sculptures
at the Aswan Open Air Sculpture Museum (2016), and the Arab Summit memorial in New Alamein City (2023)..

Yasmina Heidar, Professoressa nel Dipartimento di Scultura presso la
Facoltà di Belle Arti dell’Università di Alessandria
Nata ad Alessandria d'Egitto, Yasmina Heidar è un’artista, Professoressa di Scultura ed ex Direttrice del Dipartimento presso la
Facoltà di Belle Arti dell’Università di Alessandria. Ha completato gli studi secondari presso l’English Girls’ College e ha
conseguito un diploma in esecuzione di pianoforte classico presso la Royal School of Music in Inghilterra.
Ha studiato arti visive in Germania e in Turchia, e si è laureata nel Dipartimento di Scultura della Facoltà di Belle Arti di
Alessandria. Successivamente ha frequentato l’Accademia di Belle Arti di Carrara in Italia, laureandosi con lode, dopo aver
presentato una tesi intitolata: “Scultura Monumentale: tra progettazione e impatto politico”.
Ha conseguito il dottorato di ricerca in Belle Arti con lode presso l’Università di Alessandria, in Egitto, nel 2009, grazie a una
ricerca pionieristica sulla scultura in vetro. Le sue opere fanno parte di collezioni private e pubbliche, tra cui la sua scultura
pubblica in vetro presso il Chianti Sculpture Park (2008), la prima scultura pubblica in vetro di grande scala in Medio Oriente,
“Tornado” presso la Bibliotheca Alexandrina, sculture in granito presso l’Aswan Open Air Sculpture Museum (2016), e il memoriale del
Vertice Arabo nella città di New Alamein City (2023).
